The Presence & Promise of God
The ark of the covenant...the place of God’s glory had been forgotten by the nation of Israel (I Chron 13:3). One of David’s first acts as king was to return the ark to Israel...to Jerusalem. This time of celebration was also filled with turmoil as well as a lesson about God saying, “No!”
