TBC Worship Team Auditions

We're excited that you are interested in serving at Temple Bible Church! The TBC Worship team consists primarily of volunteer musicians who desire to give of their time and talents to serve the body of Christ. Worship is more than just the songs we sing on Sunday morning, and for this reason we desire all members of the worship team to be active participants in small groups or other TBC related ministries.

Individuals wishing to join the worship team should have a strong sense of rhythm and song dynamics. Vocalists should be able to sing both melody and harmony by ear as needed. Instrumentalists should be able to emulate the sound and style of recordings with the help of chord charts.

We are always accepting auditions, but please note that due to a limited number of spaces available, we are not always able to immediately schedule qualified applicants into the rotation. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Mark at markr@tbcweb.org.

VOCALISTS

  • Sing a verse and chorus of Hillsong's “Who You Say I Am” (acappella).
  • Sing harmony on the chorus of a worship song of your choice (sing along with Spotify, YouTube, etc)
  • Optional: sing 1 verse and 1 chorus of a song of your choice (acappella).
  • Optional: submit any video or audio of you performing in a live or studio setting.
Submission Process

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • We accept all auditions via video submissions. (Nothing fancy required. Filming with your cell phone is perfectly fine!)
  • If you want to audition for multiple instruments, or an instrument and vocals, you will need to submit separate videos for each.
  • We will view all videos and email you back to let you know if you’ve been asked to continue in the audition process.
  • Expect a response within 2 weeks.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION

  • Please submit video by uploading it to YouTube or by sharing the video file via Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar.
  • Copy and paste the link to your video in an email.
  • Submit your video audition by emailing markr@tbcweb.org.
