New Song Sewing Event
Join the women of New Song to make pillow case dresses for girls in Haiti! It’s happening on Wednesday, February 28 from 12 – 3 p.m. in the Creekside Center.
If you’d like to participate in making a dress, please bring the following items with you:
- Fabric – 1 yard
- Matching thread
- Extra wide double fold bias tape
- Trim (buttons, lace, ribbon, or rick-rack, ruffle, etc.)
- 1/4″ elastic
- Straight pins
- 1 safety pin
- Scissors
- Portable sewing machine (if you have one!)
If you don’t have a sewing machine, we will have several on hand that you could take turns using to make a dress! This is a fun way to get to know one another, learn something new, and enables our missionaries in Africa to spread the gospel through essential gifts!
