Community Groups are a vital part of the life of Temple Bible Church. We desire to see everyone at TBC connected to a home group community - nobody standing alone. It is in these smaller group environments where many aspects of the intimate fellowship of the early church that we read about in the book of Acts can most naturally be experienced today. "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe... They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)

Home groups are great environments for fostering spiritual growth and missional living through the experience of biblical community with other believers. They are not intended to just be Bible studies, but rather to be places where people truly share their hearts and lives with each other and grow together as they experience the application of the Word of God to their lives. This purpose of home groups can be summarized in accordance with our Core Values:
