The Nature of the One who was Sent
One minute He was surrounded by the glory of heaven, the next he was occupying the womb of a young Jewish girl. One moment he was seated on a throne in heaven being worshiped by angels, the next He willingly came to earth knowing that He would be despised and rejected. We can never fully appreciate or comprehend what Christ gave up or what He did for us...but we can follow His example of living a selfless life.
