The Choosing of a Leader
In Psalm 4:2, David asks the question of the nation of Israel, “How long will you love delusions and follow false gods?” The history of Israel shows that they were often deluded by the culture around them. They worshipped other gods or lived compromised lives, in spite of being God’s chosen people. We have the same struggle...we are often deluded by the culture around us and live compromised lives. As we study the life of David, my prayer is that we will learn from these that were deluded.
