A Royal Baby
The chorus of one of my favorite Christmas carols, “What Child Is This?” supplies the answer to its own question…”this, this is Christ the King!” The wise men who came seeking Him asked, “Where is He who is born King of the Jews?” In writing his gospel, Matthew focuses upon Jesus being the King…so as we look into the manger we see His majesty, the King!
