Luke 11:1-13

The Disciple’s Prayer

• Hallowed be your name. (praise)

If you want to measure how much someone really understands Christianity, find out how much they make of the fatherhood of God, how much they treasure it, how much it means to them, and you’ll know how much they understand Christianity. – J.I. Packer

• Your kingdom come. (will)
• Give us each day our daily bread. (needs)
• Forgive us our sins. (confession)
• Lead us not into temptation. (protection)

Persistence

A Good Father

What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent? – Luke 11:11
