Key Passage: Jonah 1:7-17

1. Conviction (vv. 7–10)
God uses the storm to expose what Jonah tries to hide.

2. Confession (v. 9)
Jonah speaks the truth, but his heart is still running.

3. Chaos (vv. 11–13)
The more we strive, the worse it gets, until we surrender.

4. Calming (vv. 14–16)
Surrender brings peace, and awakens worship.

5. Commission (v. 17)
God appoints a fish, not to punish, but to preserve.

Big Idea:
Jonah points us to Jesus, who stepped into humanity’s storm to rescue us and reach others through us.
