Learn More About Our Partnership with Ukraine

In the fall of 1992, just after the fall of the Iron Curtain, God made a way for TBC to be partnered together with our “Sister Church” in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine. With an invitation from Church leaders there in Bila Tserkva, TBC sent the first of ultimately dozens of teams to work with our dear friends in Ukraine, helping coordinate youth camps, pastor conferences and building facilities. Looking back on a partnership that has now endured 30 years, it’s difficult to describe the numerous ways God has blessed TBC through this partnership and what we have shared together.

Here are at least a few of the highlights:

  • TBC worked together with CLDI and the leaders in Ukraine to host an annual Pastor’s Conference to provide ongoing training and encouragement for Pastors throughout Ukraine. 2018  marked the 28th conference held at our Sister Church in BT.  Over the years hundreds, if not thousands, of pastors and leaders have been blessed by these conferences. Guest speakers over the years include Howard Hendrix, Gary DeSalvo, Stuart Briscoe, Charles Cooper, Alexey Kolomiytsev and many others. Numbers TBCers traveled to Ukraine in support of these conferences.
  • TBC worked with and supported our Sister Church’s desire to make disciples throughout their city by planting several other Churches in Bilya Tserkva and surrounding villages. One church led to six churches being established and working together to bring many to Christ throughout the city and region. These churches continue to work together through the most difficult of times brought on by the war in Ukraine.
  • 13 years ago our partner churches focused on a desire to follow God’s leading to mobilize and launch trained Ukrainian leaders into global missions. TBC worked together with the leaders in Ukraine to establish “MMK” conferences and training to raise awareness of the global mandate for the church to reach all nations with the Gospel and to help Ukrainian missionaries go to places that they were strategically able to go where others could not. Through these efforts many have been trained and sent to places like Albania, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. Speakers at these conferences have included Celestine Musakura, Craig Ludrick, Chase Bowers, Brandon Brewer, James Arnold, Bill Bowers and many others.
  • Beginning in 1994 TBC began working with it partner churches to provide summer camps for children and family. 27 annual campus focused on evangelism and sharing the gospel with hundreds of children. Dozens of TBC families have traveled to Ukraine over the years to work together with the churches in Ukraine leading many long term friendship and many choosing to go on to be missionaries throughout the world.
