When Paul planted the Church in Corinth he did so in one of the most urbane, cultured cities in Ancient Greece. It was a melting pot filled with idolatry and immorality. Paul wrote to the Church to remind them that God sent Jesus to bring us to God and to bring us together. For the Church, the resurrection changes everything.
